Thank you! :)
Your starfield is pretty - I like the different-coloured stars!

Had a go at making a starfield from a tutorial - I quite like the results, so here's a wallpaper of it! Sorry 800x600 people, you'll have to resize...or use it as it is, I don't suppose it matters.
Yes, this is all Photoshop from scratch...

Hmmm...should I post it on art_skill_trade?? It's not exactly drawing, unless you count globbing on the space dust, just...Photoshop-ing.
The rainbow is actually a leftover artifact from a lensflare...I've never used lensflares with such impunity before! XD
This is a really nice pic, nebulous and all CG-y. As for a critique... I can't really see anything wrong with it. That's a first for me, being so 'negative' and all, so I'm told. It's mezmerizing, just like wallpapers are supposed to be. If I was shown this just randomly I would've expected to be told that it was made with a 3D graphics editing program, as opposed to a JPG editor such as Adobe Photoshop, unless I'm missing something. So, how long'd'it take, and how many layers did you end up with?
Hey, that's awesome! I like starfields.
I also read that very same tutorial and started doing starfields myself... My problem is that I don't have Photoshop 7... I tried first with Paint Shop Pro 7, but I got bored and didn't do it properly. The second time I had Photoshop Elements 2, and since I was at work, it came out pretty okay... Want to see? Sorry about the plug, but I need to show it around, heh. I didn't bother to try to do it exactly like in the tutorial, since I knew I had other programs. Oh well.
Er... back to your picture! It's really nice and detailed, I could only hope that the jpg compression didn't eat so much of it... and that it came in my desktop size, heh.
