This is a quickie SD I did for an avatar for my chatroom. I hadn't drawn Aeris for a couple of years, and she's a pretty simple design, so I decided to do a picture of her. I wanted a simple pose, so I wound up drawing her just standing there with a flower. Colored with Prismacolor markers, colored pencils, and my dear gel pen, which was used to fix highlighted and fix a few lineart mistakes... ^^;;; A few edits in Photoshop, and voila! It's a pretty goofy-looking picture, really, and kinda cheesy, too... ^^;;;; But here it is, anyways...

Nad00d, you are the SD mistress. I don't think there's anything you couldn't take and make small and cute.
Her left forearm (our right) looks a little wide...I realize it's probably the angle, but it's either too wide or the shading is odd for it, then, I think. I'm not quite sure, I'm not good at those things myself.
Otherwise, I can't find anything else to say. Very vivid and lovely pink, lively coloring in general as usual. I love your SDs. =D
Yup, the left arm looks a little off, almost Popeye-ish, if I may say so. Also, I think there's something a little bit odd with Aeris's jaw, but that's just what I'm seeing. Perhaps the lower part of her face is just a bit too round? Maybe it's just me!
Regardless, excellent coloring and, despite what you say, the pose is fine! Yes, cutesy, but that's what people expect out of Aeris. That's all she is, cute, likeable, and easy to put on a shiskebab! OK, that's a joke in poor taste to say the least (like a similar pun, but...we won't go there), but fantastic work with the gel pen!
Aww...she's so adorable. I love the simple shading. I think it works better for her than full blown shading. It compliments the simpliness of her design.
