This is from Stolen Memories, still one of my faves of the YGO fics I've done. Marik sacrificed himself to rescue Joey, Tristan, Mai, and Ishizu from his Yami in a burning warehouse, and now Mai is trying to hack the door down with the dagger in the Millenium Rod so they can get out. She's not having much luck at the moment, but then she hears Marik's voice encouraging her as he hovers behind her in astral form. (That's why the beams and fire and everything is kinda going through him.) It's a sweet scene ^_^
