Sabriel Anime Style
Sabriel Anime Style by @chaosmage (Yaminah Tashanazi)

Whee . . . this is something I did ages ago. I was reading the book "Sabriel" by Garth Nix for a book report during Study Hall (Awesome book BTW. Go read it peoples) and I was taking a look at the cover. Out of sheer boredome, I decided to take an attempt at doing it anime style. At first, it just started as something to keep me busy during Study Hall. I was really surprised at how well it turned out. Though . . . the face/head could've been better. I take more pride in the key pattern that just about killed me on the tunic. I also like the texture on the chainmail stuff. The shading on the belt turned out better than I expected. The sheath for the sword turned out funky . . . And there's minor things here and there. But all in all. I'm satisfied with it.

XD; I would have gone crazy trying to detail the tunic. Kudos to you! I love the way you did the hair. ^^ It looks so silky and soft.

Ohh....I like this one. I haven't got a clue as to who Sabriel is, but the detail in this piece is amazing. Just how many keys are drawn on that outfit, anyway? o.o;; counts Twenty-seven...twenty-eight...twenty-nine... And the chain-mail...dude. This really must've taken forever...

The flowy sleeve is done nicely, and that's a wonderful texture you've done there for the hair...sort of an untamed, not-quite-groomed look, and I'm always thrilled to see hair drawn some other way than an immobile wad. The image is nice and crisp, too, and the black and white coloring accents it nicely...if I were to say anything, I'd reccommend a background of sorts, but I can't think of anything that wouldn't distract from all the pretty detail. ^^

Very nice, very very nice.
