Angels Fall First by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

The idea for this picture comes from a song by Nightwish called Angels Fall First. I can't think of anything more disturbing to find in a cemetery than the body of someone known and cared about, and if there's blood around and foul play can be suspected, it's even worse.

I know I often draw similar pictures, but the reason is because I keep thinking of new ways to illustrate things or new ways to draw the characters. The fact is, I'm obsessed with non-romantic hurt/comfort materials. XD; And hardly anyone else draws or writes it, so I do both in abundance to satisfy myself.

I really love the way Valon's expression came out. He looks devastated. o.o

The angel statue came out better than I'd expected. (It's missing half an arm, too!) And I'm proud of the copper-colored gravestone. I based the design on a gravestone in the city cemetery uptown that always creeped the heck out of me as a kid.
