Bacchae Kitty! I got on this kick due to a play by Euripedes. Dionysus comes down to avenge his mother's death on her family. He makes all the women in town go crazy and run around in the woods bearing thyrsus branches and beating up sheperds and cattle. Ancient Greeks had a tendency to be a little bizarre.

Once again, lovely face; it really conveys the delicateness of a cat. I also like the hand holding the glass.

The kneeling leg doesn't read true for me, though. It doesn't look like it's supporting anything...or it looks like it isn't turned towards us enough. Another thing--it's hard to tell which leg is supposed to be in front of which. I do understand these are sketches, though...just some thoughts for next time. :)
