Musical Favoritism by @lynne (Lynne)

Only musicians would come up with something like this... well, anyways, it was an idea I got last night, talking to KidK and her two composer headvoices, Antonio Vivaldi and Modest Mussorgsky.. violinist and pianist, respectively. So we all took a brief stand on which was the 'better instrument'. A stand full of CUDDLES! ... yeah we're all cuddle-mongers, excepting the priest. He's too superpriesty for that.

So anyways, that inspired this picture. I was gonna draw us all in an instrument war, but it turned out too happy and friendly for that, so I went for the contrast thing in the background, since we're obviously all happy friends in the actual subject. u.u;

And, I took Vivaldi's side despite the fact that I'm a pianist too... and I'm not REALLY a violinist, I'm a fiddler, but violin/fiddle is still my all-time favorite instrument and the one closest to my heart. u.u

Truely, though, there is no way to compare the two instruments, they are so very different and can accomplish so much on their own terms. It's like asking if apples are better than oranges. They're not better or worse, only different. And I know this, because I play both of them!!!

But either way it makes a cool picture :D
