Hu Whoosh Rustle Flutter
Hu Whoosh Rustle Flutter by @IvanTDN (Ivan Onestrani)
METHOD: Another experiment in layering. The background was done by doing cutout layers with good old scissors and construction paper over a triple-tao [The Cosmic Tao in our game-verse] symbol and then 5 overheads with markers and one pastel on onion paper [took several tries :::rip::: “rassin frassit..”. Scanned in at local Library [back-in-the –day few of us had our own... and they were big]. Style is purposefully iconic and unreal.
CHARACTER: The sky-shark is the normal “person” here. The Saturnian Wolf [separated stained glass figure bottom central, they are to H.P. Lovecraft’s Saturnian Cats as wolves are to ours.] is what he is a were-creature of. The other large figures are his steps between in transformation. The small figures in the tree-of-life are his honored ancestors. Another of the wife’s characters.

Very sophisticated, both in technique and content :). Good use of negative space as well. The two semi-triangual areas of solid blue on either side of the composition adds really nice contrast and flow.

Keep it up :)

My comment, unfortunately, isn't so in-depth:

GREAT SHARK
