Thanks! I believe the shading technique is called cel shading... I don't usually do it, just this time because I was playing around with vectors. I use the shading style similar to their hair more. Generally my stuff doesn't look exactly like this... this is a bit old anyway.

Four characters from my story THOH. Rem has just met the powerless Kim, Kovetri and Kydre and are eating at MacHess. Bit obsolete now that Kinian should also be with them...
I love the casual look of these characters, and the shading on the hair really jumps off the picture at you. I also very much like the style of shading you used, and the subtle lighting effect of the lamp and the window in the background. Very complete picture. I see that you have a stylized art form, which is refreshing to see, though the benches seem a little off. The seats need to be longer, particularly on the right, and knowing fast food restaurants, I wouldn't make the backs so high. Very nice work otherwise, though.
