Thanks. I admit, I drew the whole thing (except the Background) right-handed with a mouse, and at far too low a resolution, so the edges do loook a bit blocky. I was reasonably happy with the staff too, even if it is too low-res.

Secondly, you don't necessarily have to ink with INK. I did a comic where I did light pencils in Col-Erase, then did a printout, and just went over the main lines darkly with pencil. I scanned it in at a high resolution, shaded, then shrunk it down, which smoothed out the lines. If you want uncommonly nice inks, though, I'd recommend going with either supersmall Micron pens (Meike Thomas on Side7 inks like some kind of goddess...I've seen one of her inked works up close, and it looks like vector graphics), doing more loose work with a brushpen (a la Calvin and Hobbes--though I've heard this method is difficult), OR...get yourself a tablet. Tablets come with Painter Classic, which has VERY nice inking tools, and an undo feature. ;)
Actually, if you're superserious about doing fully computer graphics, do get yourself a tablet. Elsewise, use Multiply mode to do your computer coloring, and do your main pencils on paper (scan them, then color them in with the mouse); the current inking you're doing doesn't suit you.
Oh, also, Al Mackey has a tutorial about outlining things. Do a search for "Al Mackey Tutorials" (or it could be in the Side7 Links page, too), you should find it easily enough.
Good luck!
Again, I think whatever you're using to outline, here, should be smoother, so as not to jarr so much against the photo background. Unless this was an Oekaki, at some point. That's what it looks like, anyway.
Your shading on the robes is SUPERnice, and I like that staff!
