Sam and Faramir by @Chronicdoodler (Mary Huff)
One of my favorite scenes in the book where Sam becomes angry at a Faramir who's crosslegged on the ground. And all the soldiers around them are laughing becuase even though faramir is sitting, Sam is still perfectly eye to eye with him. Well i thought it was funny, I'll type up the original passage when I finish coloring it. This was really hard becuase I know hobbits are about 3 to 4 feet, and faramir is kinda tall. So I'm having trouble getting the proportions right, I think it came out okay though, except that faramirs anatomy is off. Otherwise I'm rather proud, I spent of alot of time on details like how the sam's elven cloak reflects his enviroment and clothes, and the freckles and the spots of dirts. I have to do the background still so it's not yet done, It'll take awhile b/c all my backgrounds are so ugly and fake looking ^_^;;. I love Sam he is the coolest character b/c he's can resist the power of the ring, is kind brave and loyal and also he has chubby cheeks. hugs sam's head

I think the proportions came out fine... I dunno if it's just me or what, but I think there's something funny about Faramir's neck... nothing big, it just looks a little odd.. I don't mean that in a mean way, I love the pic! ^^ Is so cute! Sam's all being defiant towards a guy who's almost twice his height... heehee... yess... Tolkien rules...
