You are very right...that isn't a hakama. To tell the truth I didn't really know what it was so I took a wild guess...thanks for correcting me^_^'. I'll remember the difference between the two next time. Anyways thank you very much for the comment!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile. This is an older picture from about a year ago. I just feel like I should put something up. Anyways I'm working on a picture currently that I can put up within the next couple weeks or so...
Let's see I suppose I should talk about this picture a little so here goes...
This was my very first drawing of Inu-Yasha and Kagome. I did it without looking at anything which explains why Inu's hakuma looks funny and Kagome doesn't really look a whole lot like herself. Anyways I guess it's pretty good for a first time.
Hope you all enjoy the pic! (C) Rumiko Takahashi

HI! Cute picture! I am sorry... but I can't remember if I have seen this one or not... but I can see that I haven't left a comment yet so here I go!!!
I love their expressions for one thing. They both looks so cute! I think this is an excellent drawing for your first time... and without even looking at a reference. (I must admit I am not very good at doing that. ^^; So you get extra points for that one.)
I also really like where you put the shadows and the shines. :) At first glance you tend to pass over the shadows and their placement... but when you take more time to look... it's really artistic the way to colored it. (Very awesome basically). For example... Kagome's hair... the shines in it look so cool. (I have a hard time with shines. ^^;) And as for an example with shadows... Inu Yasha's left shoulder and Kagome's left leg are very well shadowed (especially around her knee, nice work!).
Oh wow... I talked more than I shoudl have I think... well anyway. I think this picture is really great and like I said before, extremely cute. Nice work. :-D I can't wait to see your new art.
You did that without looking at a reference? Wow! That's amazing! As for Inu Yasha's haori (that's his red 'jacket' part of his outfit. He doesn't wear a hakama-- a hakama looks like a skirt, but is actually VERY baggy pants. Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin wears a hakama), the error in style is barely noticeable, so don't worry about it. As for Kagome's face, I really don't see anything wrong at all. She doesn't normally do the "kitsune smile" but that's ok---she still looks very much like she should. The beads of Inu Yasha's rosary are supposed to purple rather than black, but again, I'm not going to nitpick that as a terrible error. Marvelous job! Very cute! I love it!
