Realistic Sheiji
Realistic Sheiji by @jfong (Janna Fong)

Got around to drawing a realistic portrait of Sheiji. I'm not sure if I got his age right. He's around 14 or 15, but I think he looks a bit older here. Anyway, I didn't have a clue how I would translate his cartoonish looking hair to something more natural. I figured a messy style would do and went with that. I'm rather happy with the result. I'm still learning how to color hair properly and I think I'm making some progress. My favorite parts of this picture are his eyes and the shine in his hair.

Next and last in this series is Naomi.

Enjoy!

I think I can see him as 14 or 15. On first glance, I might think older, but he doesn't look too old for it. The hair works very well, you can easily tell it's him, and again, I love the Asian features you gave him. I must say, I LOVE the shine of his eyes. It's really captivating. His nose looks a little off-center compared to his mouth, but otherwise, very lovely work. I look forward to seeing a realistic Naomi, green hair notwithstanding. grin

I love how all the realistic versions actually have different faces - so many people I know who try to do this with cartoon characters make all the faces the same. Great job with all of them. ^^ You're so good at shading and colors. Dunno why, but I like how in this one, he isn't even looking at the viewer...

This one is my favorite! I love his hair.....wants to pet it
