I clicked finished, but I really want to add a background someday.

This is a self-portrait I drew of myself to serve as part of the layout for The Stargarden, my art site.

People always seem to assume I was putting myself in some fantasy world, but I really have those clothes and I really had that hair with those trinkets hanging in it, though it has changed by now. ;) I know it is hard to believe, but I LIKE all that junk in it. That is where I keep my house keys, for one thing--I never lose them when they are tied to my head.

I made the image with cheap mechanical pencils, black Micron & Zig pens, Prismacolor and Copic markers, Prismacolor colored pencils, and it is done on the back of a sales sign from a department store that refuses to recycle. The image measures about 10 inches vertically in real life.
