There are a lot of things wrong with this picture. Firstly, I hate the colour of the walls but I can't be bothered to change it. I should have put a window there, and that chest of drawers looks super-thin. But I digress, what is done is done.

As for the rat, I think she looks ok considering this is my first attempt at drawing "rodent-like" legs. Yes I've been inspired by The Secret of NIMH again. :)

My Dad pointed out that she looks a bit like Gadget from Chip 'n' Dale, Rescue Rangers and I agree. It must be the goggles. Artwork © Copyright 2003 Harriet Collett
