Poor Meg
Poor Meg by @Ashwings (Jenny Romanchuk)

This is Meg. No one you know. She's saving up her money so she can get into university, and become a teacher. This is her first day, on her first real job. Little did Meg know, that someone needed some money, they needed it so bad that they killed her for it, and made off with only $35.56 in change. Poor Meg.

Woa! Jenny drew blood! I had to put it into the 'mature' It really irratates me to hear this kind of stuff on the news why must we do this?

You definitely pinned down the realism on this one... The blood is frighteningly well-done; the way it soaks into her clothing and seeps into the cracks of the linoleum... shudders A little melodramatic, maybe, but it's a poignant social statement.

My boyfriend is an assistant manager at a convenience store... I used to worry about stuff like this happening all the time o.o fret But he's only been robbed once and the person doing it was an idiot.

Very well done...and extremely sad. You did a wonderful job on the coloring and shading.

Such a beautiful and sad picture and story. Sorry, must reiterate, fantastic job with the realism. The pose, the hair, the straps of her apron, the necklace, even the watch band. You really get the impression that this is a very real person, which makes it very touching, and sad. The effects of the blood are phenomenal and I love the shading and folds of the apron. The shading on the arm leaves a little to be desired, but everything else is wonderful. Wonderful.

Woaah, violent and tragic. The blood is drawn and colored very well, not too bright and not too dark. So realistic it's scary! O: Awesome job, and interesting message.
