Ufff. The fur? Yeah, that was a real tricy style I tend to do now and then but it takes a ton of time. You first have to ink the fur in, hair by hair. Which can take a while because of the change of length of fur. Then you go over it with light colored (whites, light greys and light browns) colored pencils and cover it till it has a glossy look to it. I went from the lightest color first then worked my way to the darker colors to the point where you had to shade the legs and what not.
And yes, you did point out a good mistake. The leg does look flat because of the way I slapped the ink on there. Must have been the last part I worked on and I was getting tired of inking. I should have changed the direction of the fur in certain areas to add more shape to it. Didn't catch my eye till you mentioned it and then it hit me like a brick wall. Very glad you mentioned it.
Ooh, I just love the fur; may I ask how you did it? I also like how the one side of the rock and the ground below him are illuminated. It's a very nice effect, like the moon is shining down.
The only thing that I can see is that the right hind leg seems somehow a little too flat, but that's probably just me. ^^
This is amazing, I can't wait to see more!
