Gollum
Gollum by @shadowlion (Destry Gunning)

This is my take on Gollum, the movie designs notwithstanding. This is somewhat of a cross between my own idea for his design and his design in the animated version of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I find this design a little more fitting to his character than the design used in the movie. I think he looks a little less human and a little more frightening.

Note: This was done ENTIRELY with the mouse, with no reference to anything. The shading itself was pretty much guesswork, as shading, obviously, is not my strong suit.

Hey, I know how you feel with the shading. I really suck at shading, though I try it.. your attempt at shading actually looks decent, not like an attempt, you seem to have real talent.. I like this picture a lot, I agree that Gollum probably wouldn't look QUITE so human-like.. -Puppy

Thank you so much! I spent at least an hour and a half on this. I'm glad you think the shading looks good. I don't like to brag (I get in trouble for that).
