My first post on Side 7! If you want to know more about this character and lore check out my DeviantArt: https://www.deviantart.com/kallper

"Many years before the Painting was threatened by Shi Ho the sorcerer, a young pupa who had not yet sprouted wings was washed by heavy rain into a river, a seemingly hopeless fate for the bug. But before the dark water could snatch her away, she was plucked from the depths by Ku, the Hexagram of decay. Despite Ku's reputation, in truth he is a being of compassion who wanted only to see those he loved thrive, when he saw the stars reflecting in the pupa's eyes, he saw in her an certain indignation that he believed spelled her fate as a Hexagram, he took her under his wing and named her T'ung Jun, meaning 'Concording'. _ Ku was a venerated scholar within the Order of the Hexagrams, Jun was brought into the order was trained under Ku, both in mind and body, T'ung Jun was Ku's pride and joy. When she finally sprouted wings, Ku witnessed her accept a curse and become a Hexagram, just as he had predicted. But after clashing ideologies amongst the order, Ku's ideas were reject, and he took his leave from the order, but the Receptive did not allow Ku to take T'ung Jun. With Ku gone, T'ung Jun continued to study under the Receptive as her disciple As she grew with the all-hearing elephant, Jun learned from her example, and became of sworn protector of duality and the Painting. _ _ When the Great Snake, Shi Ho, destroyed the Order of the Hexagrams in his attempt to tear away the Painting. T'ung Jun ensured the Receptive's safe escape from Shi Ho, and since then, has been continuing to study under her in what is left of the Order's temples. And when the return of Ku calls the remnants of the Order into action, it falls into the hands of Jun to tame the restless spirit of Tayn and Ta Ch'u and guide them to the path of balance. But a growing sense of doubt looms over her, faced with the knowledge that she must soon confront the crow she once saw as her father." I decided to redesign Jun after I was inspired by @WarehouseRabbit 's depiction of her, I was always unsatisfied with her original design but I think this is a massive improvement!
