First... my gripe... Why do people keep calling those CLAMP wings? CLAMP isn't the first or only artist to use that style. As a matter of fact, I don't recall seeing it in any CLAMP pics... but... what's it really matter? I don't know why I felt like randomly griping about that.
Anyways. Moving on to the pic. Definetly very nice, how she's falling forward--more detailed wings would've been better, for sure. Maybe glassy ones since the pic is called shattered, ne? Shading and colors are very nice, but what happened to her arm? It's only half-finished. o.O The background is decent--a little plain, but that keeps more of the focus on the character, right? Overall pretty impressive. Keep it up, and be sure to work on things you don't feel you can draw well--be it wings, arms, or hands. Just don't give up, cause you can do it!

First of all- thankyou all for putting in some really constructive and nice comments, I was really quite suprised
And to miss lilwagn- your comment was so... whats a nicer word than peppy? somewhere between supportive and peppy...thinks very hard motivaty-peppy-supporty... you should see the terms I use shudders But yes thankyou it was very kind ^_^
Yes the arm bit is still sorta incomplete sorta due to the fact that it is a work in progress and also to the fact that Im...just ...bottom line...lazy ^_^
But yes your right, the backgrounds plain...takes another look very plain actually- Never could do them >.<
Anywho- thankyou peeps and next time I'll try and not to be such a lazy ass and take so much shortcuts...and also give bkgds a try
