Arshes Nei
Arshes Nei by @WaterGoddessMillenia (Millenia Syke)

This is a picture of Arshes Nei from the anime Bastard!!. It actually wasn't meant to be her though at first. It was supposed to be a pale skinned elf in a dark, full body suit but everybody thought she looked like Arshes Nei so I changed it lol.

This might seem odd, as it is not the main focal point of this picture, but... I LOVE THE MARBLE! How did you get it to look so amazing? The patterns and veins in it are just like real marble! It's amazing!

You've done a really nice job on shading her, and her anatomy is really well done (though I believe her right arm is a little long?) I think that this picture would look better if you just completely removed the outlines, and showed different areas just using shading and highlights, in a realistic sort of fashion. Also, I think a darker background would be more dramatic--since there is so much white, she kind of blends in, regardless of her darker skin, and a darker background would certainly make the marble stand out more.

Either way, keep up the great work! I'll look forward to seeing more!

lmao, thanks I appreciate the comment even if you did like the marble the most ^^.

I did it by looking at a marble tile to get an idea of what I wanted it to look like, then I put down the base color, then the shadows, then I put the soft greys, whites and pinks, then I just drew in the sharp colored lines and blured it a tad bit after takes a breath after her long run on sentence and that's how I did it if ya still want to know ^^;;;;.

Thanks for commenting again ^^ I'll watch out for those things you mentioned in my next picture :D.
