When I draw fantasy creatures, I always try to stay as true to the descriptions and illustrations of the subject, but at the same time giving it a more realistic edge to it. What always pissed me off about Chinese dragon pictures by modern artists is that they never got the face right (more specically, the mammalisn features).

Yes, that is very true. I love this picture; I think it's fantastic. I love all your pictures! You're really very good. This one is beautiful, though, and well worth a comment as far as I'm concerned -.o
