Life
Life by @drkdragonrage (Meghan Lucas-Maguire)

This image was created for one of my New Media projects. We were given a poem and asked to create an image to represent the poem. The Rose represents life. The color parts are Happiness, the black/white parts are sadness. It shows that when we are first born (beginning of the stem) we are happy, but as we get older and are given more responsibility are happiness fades away, except for a few times (the leaves), then when we die we become happy again (the flower part) becasue only in death is love ever healed, which is why the falling petal turns into a drop of blood. But we must also consider that it is out of life that we are born, which is why the rose is growing out of the blood. This image was drawn in in Photoshop (yes, with a mouse).
