Larketh Oldsfire
Larketh Oldsfire by @lynne (Lynne)

Another Dragon character from the NCD.. Larketh Oldsfire. Hand-shaded and computer colored ^.^ I took a bunch of artistic license with details since there wasn't much description of them.. but I hope it came out at least half right.

This is a really awesome pic! I love the form of the dragon, the shading with the colour pencils is cool. :D

Wow, this is quite beautiful! I love the texture of her skin. I also love how you made it so shiney. Beautiful metallic effect! I also really love the contrast of the sky and the ground against the sun. It reminds me of egypt. =) I would try to do the shadowing underneath the dragon differently, because she looks a bit off place and not really on the ground, if you know what I mean. =\ Wow, really love how you do dragons! =D

@.@ She looks like she's made of pure gold... The pose on this one is amazing, with shading to match. With the sameness of color, she looks almost statue-like, but as usual with your art there's that tangible spark of life. ^.^ I love that background, too. You're so good at choosing background elements that'll compliment your subjects. The sun makes for a good light source, and the aqua sky sets off all the warm gold color. Awesome as always! Gold...dude...o.@
