XD His skin's too dark, even though I tried to lighten it. But I thought I should upload a picture of Marik looking calm after those pics of him hurt so badly. I liked drawing this picture very much. ^__~

snicker How nice of you, to give him a break ^_~

Actually, I rather like the darker skin color in this picture...it makes the coloring look smoother, maybe. Out of curiosity, what do you color with? I only ask because if you're using colored pencils, Prismacolor makes this wonderful colorless blender (basically it's a clear pencil) that can work wonders with lightening colors....'tis a truly wonderful thing, that pencil is...

I like the eyes in this one, and the face in general...he looks pleasantly calm...

giggle. In response to something you replied on another pic, those who RP with me havta watch out for my hurt/comfort obsession. Often a character winds up appearing dead, but I never kill them for real. XD

Yeah, I use colored pencils. I always wanted to try computer coloring, but the programs I've got seem to make a slow process and I was never very good with using the Paint program, even, so I decided to stick with coloring by hand. XD Thanks for the tip on Prismacolor. ^__^ Can you buy that particular pencil separate or does it come in a box with all the other colors?

We tend to end our RPs once someone dies...or is too traumatized to do much else, but the unspoken rule seems to be that if Yami no Malik is involved, somebody's gonna die (and unfortunately for poor Jou, he's usually the one splooshed into an RP with him). ^_^...Hm...odd to use so cheerful an emoticon with so morbid a statement...ah well XD

Digital coloring can be nice, but traditional media is so underrated anymore...huzzah for pencils! And Paint is generally an uncooperative program for coloring...you can flood-fill, but that's about it. If you really want to try CGing, your best bet is one of the versions of Photoshop, or Paint Shop Pro. They have nice airbrushes. ^^

As for the colorless blender, I know you can buy them in art stores separately...I wear mine out so quickly, I need to stock up on them ^_~...but I got a 300+ color set for Christmas a few years ago, and it came with two of them...along with two whites and two blacks, and one of every bizarre obscure color Prismacolor has made to date clings to her metallics possessively. Usually, though, you can buy Prismacolors individually, and you can just about always get the blenders individually.
