The Witching Hour
The Witching Hour by @Shaolin (Heidi)

My two original characters, Carriel and Elias, walking through a forest during the witching hour. If Elias, the human, were there alone, he'd probably be accosted by the elves, but since Carriel, a half elf, is with him, he doesn't really have to fear anything.

I spent a lot of time on this when I made it and I was really proud. It's pretty old now, but it still has a special place in my heart.

I can see why. Lovely atmosphere in this picture. You really capture the warmth of their companionship and the magical quality of the place while still showing the mysterious threats lurking just outside. The expressions say a lot and I like the way Carriel's holding her hand out like that. It's very natural. Since this is an old picture, I won't bother with what could be improved, since I'm sure you're aware of that now, anyway. Nice work regardless.
