Thank you kindly. It didn't turn out how I wanted due to my scanner, but I'm proud of it. Thanks again for the comment. ^_^
Draco Americanus by @ray7228 (Rachel Swyear)
Otherwise known as the American Amphithere. The American Amphithere , while very similar in appearences, is unlike its cousin the Mexican Amphithere. American Amphis have reptilian, or "moth"-like, wings while its cousin has feathers. American Amphis prey on mostly deer and elk, but occasionally consume bison. They are a solitary species and prefer to avoid human civilization if possible. They fly only at night in order to cover themselves in a shroud of darkness. Rare sightings have been recorded, but most have been brushed off as either a giant luna moth or other large species of Lepidoptera.
Of cousre, I had to spruce "my" version up a bit. I don't think real Amphis have poisonous barbs on it's head, neck, and tail. But, since this is just fantasy, I can always imagine things differently. Overall, I'm very please in with the way this turned out. The scanner killed the picture, so I apologize for the not-so-great quality of the dragon. The actual drawing looks very nice, though. I may have to sell prints of it on E-Bay, but who knows. Enjoy. ;)
