Foxy George de Sand
Foxy George de Sand by @Straya (Christie Majors)

Well, after the events of the 11th, I found myself rather creatively drained for several days. I thought for a while to do something in the way of art in tribute...but somehow I couldn't dwell on the subject matter to come up with anything even remotely satisfactory. I think maybe I'm still just at a loss to sum it all up.....

In the end, this was the first thing I churned out. I think I was trying to divert my mind; try drawing something a little more fun. It's not that I'm ignoring what happened, or am trying to be disrespectful, but I think I just needed the time out from dwelling on those certain events. It's helped me to draw this...get me back on track again to where I'm feeling more motivated.

Other than that, not much else to say...other than this pic of George trying to look suave and cool came off wonderfully, IMO. Hope to color it soon!
