Why don't you like this image? I personally think it came out excellent! First of all, the Sonic SatAM series always had a dark background to it--you retained that epitome of darkness flawlessly. Secondly, the use of frames makes it clear what all the characters are looking at--Sonic! Third, with darkness comes the need for careful shading, and you accomplished that splendidly! One area particularly benefitting from your accurate shading is the inside of Sonic's sneakers. Another is the eerie red glow eminating from Robotnik and the Swatbots' eyes. The way Sonic is holding the ring gives the impression that he, along with all the other onlookers, are in awe of the power in his hands.

The only possible flaw I could find with this image is the size of Sonic's sneakers---I look at how huge they are on him and wonder how in the world could he possibly run at God-knows-how-many miles per hour without them falling off of him.
