Surge Bust
Surge Bust by @VioletWhirlwind (Violet Whirlwind)

I made this in Ceramics class several years ago. Terra cotta.

Head and shoulders of my character, Surge. Majolica again. This one looks a little flat in the face from the side, basically, because I was trying to complete it quickly, as I made him as a companion peice to the Reni one that will be uploaded shortly, on the last day of wetwork. So, I had to make him quickly, in order to get him done on time.

He still looks pretty good though. For my claywork, it's good, though Reni is better. His lightning bolts are there, they're just extremely hard to see. I like the way the ears came out.

This is far superior to my own claywork. ^^; Cute, too!

The Reni one definitely looks liek it was cut off and meant to be a bust piece, but this one looks a little more like a full-body chibi. It's a good effect.

I should try sculpting some charactes again, just to see if I still suck... >.>"
