Makoto (Angel Shot)
Makoto (Angel Shot) by @krismari (Krissa Marie)

Completed: 2-12-1999

(Modeled from a similar, professionally drawn Usagi image)

Why:
Mako-chan's spiffy with wings.

What was used: Sketched, scanned, and then colored with Paint Shop Pro 4

Whoo! I was proud of this one when it was completed, and still am, for the most part. It was my first attempt at an anime-styled profile, and my first time digitally editing a drawing. ^_^ Overall, the face is what I'd say is the pic's best feature.

Oop! That shoulder is an eye sore (it's way too hunched forward). Her neck should start a tad further back from the chin. Those topmost pieces of the bangs shouldn't be feathered upwards (if the figure was to be turned to face you, the bangs would be sticking straight out in your direction). And finally, I colored the wings using a textured flood fill- I wish I had made an effort to blend in those resulting colored blocks.
