Ah, it brings back memories seeing the samurai rabbit with his ears in a ma-ge. I too remember seeing him on the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show (and, briefly, in the new one) and it warms my heart to see that someone besides myself remembers this wonderful character. Excellent attention to detail and design. The lack of shading and lighting effects on him, rather than detract from the image, actually enhance it by making more "manga-ish" in style. The "whisker pits" in his face make him appear almost teenager-ish, but his reputation precedes him and eliminates that assumption. Marvelous job! I hope to see more of Usagi Yojimbo from you in the near future. If I may make a suggestion, draw a picture of him with the young rabbit boy. (SPOILER: The boy doesn't know it, but Usagi is his father. He refers to Usagi as his uncle. Our lop-earred samurai knows the truth, but as far as I know, he has not told the boy the truth yet.)

Another request for Mary Ann/Miss Shadow! Usagi Yojimbo. I know of him but haven't been able to get a hold of any of the comics x.x
My adjustments of the image really killed the shading, you can barely see any of the shading I did in his fur .x. Oh well.

I'm glad you like my rendition ^_^ I haven't read any of the comics yet, so I don't know anything at all about him. Don't give me any spoilers! XD;; He's really the only character I know.
I don't know that I'll be doing any more of him in the future unless I get a hold of the comics and feel like doing fanart :P But we'll see.
cooooooool!! this wa my favorite character in the old school teenage mutant ninja turtles series, like back in the 80's. this is very well done, i love the color of his shirt ^_^
