OH MY GOD!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, HERE WE HAVE IT!! LAURA DRAWS A HUMAN!! gasp! Yes, I know you all just cannot contain your excitement! cough But here we have it, my first EVER upload of a humanoid to ANY art gallery ANYwhere. Because for the majority of my life my humans have all looked like crap. However, lately I've decided to start to learn to draw people–after all, the anatomy is great to learn so you can pull off decent furry pics ;)

Anyway, I've been practicing and learning (mainly in my Wednesday night art class) to draw people–and finally I got the guts to draw one on my own. Here's the results. Not too shabby–it's basically a copy of a picture of a clothing model in a J. Jill catalog, but hey, I'm allowed to use reference pictures, aren't I?! Notice how I said COPY, not TRACE. lol.

Ok. Now I'll stop ranting and get on with it. I guess it came out ok :) Please ignore her left hand because it was HORRIBLY mutilated by by sub-par hand-drawing skills >_< Bleah! And I can't draw drapes (folds in peeps' clothing) to save my soul, so I make did with little shadow type thingies. heh. The face is okay, the eyes are messed up, the cheek looks a little flat, the ear doesn't look right, I screwed up her ear, her jaw bone goes too far back in her neck–but other than that, it's okay, right? ^^; Also that little thing she's holding in her right hand... ugh... it was a long match in the photo, I guess she was lighting candles or something, and I messed it up, so now she's just holding a deformed stick. Ah well. Comments, please :) Also constructive critiscism is, as always, MORE than welcome!

wow it is very good ^^, heres some little critic hehe ahem: she could use a little more fill in her breast, and on her chest you don't really need those lines it'll look perfectly fine without them ^^ [hope im not being to mean], the arms are ok and the hair should be a little more straight [when it comes to a real good drawing like this one], and last but not least, you could to draw the eyes lightly first and then when you decided you like them then draw them a little darker and presto you have a most delightly better pic hug
