My Saving Grace Update
My Saving Grace Update by @morna (Jessica Evans)

I know, I know I'm a hopeless romantic, lol..I did this for the boyfriend I also had in mind those scenes in movies when the two lovers run off to the woods to secretly meet, and they find peace and harmony in being with one another...just a lovely thought and I wanted to try and paint that. And mostly I was just missing Joel and wanting to be with him. Both figures all painted from scratch, no references.

softened it and worked on the faces more

I love the beautiful, gothic feel of this piece--the way the background blends into the figures is so organic, absolutely lovely... I love their designs and the soft gleam in their eyes, I can almost hear them whispering professions of love amongst the dark trees, only the soft winds to hear them... A beautiful image. Absolutely lovely.
