lineart
lineart by @jfong (Janna Fong)

Lineart I finished this morning. You can see a partially colored version over at my livejournal. Some people said she looked like a girl from Perfect Blue and her dress was from FFXI. @_@ I've never seen or played either, so the similarities are not intended. XP However, I did get inspiration from Soul Calibur II and Shadow Hearts II. =D

Cannot wait to see the finished version, since the line art is great. Her dress looks great with it simplicity and the contrasting elaborate parts. It gives an interesting twist. Anyways, hope to see the final product soon!

I can't wait to see the finished version either!! =D

That's some very smooth and very clean lineart!

I love the design of her dress and she has a very natural facial expression! Very nice! I've never seen perfect blue so I can't comment on that =p But her hair is very nice! Especially the part on her shoulders that bend accordingly! Very nice! =D

I can't say I've played FFXI, but I can say that she does have some similarities to the girl in Perfect Blue (which is an amazing movie, btw!) I think it's due to the innocent face and the cutesy pose--she looks like she's showing off but trying REALLY hard not to look like she's showing off--like "Ah, what a lovely day it is" ::pose:: "..." Maybe trying to get some cute boy's attention? :) Who knows. I really love the design on her dress, and it's cool seeing the way this progresses in LJ. Is she holding a spyglass?

Keep up the great work. I really love this pose--the movement in it is a break from your normal works, and in a great way!
