The Gorza
The Gorza by @The-Wizard-of-Zaar (The Wizard Of Zaar)

Gorza is the Sargari word for their cultural/religious tattoos.

A collection of symbols depicting snakes bearing fangs and hissing tongues, gazing eyes of Agra littered in depictions of the night sky. Excerpts of the Sargari religious scripture (The Ranyin) and various depictions of weapons that the individual is skilled and accomplished in.

The difference between the Gorza that men and women of the Sargari get is minimal. Men tend to have more weaponry tattoos, women will often have much more Ranyin written on their bodies.

Women will have their upper lip coloured in and a snakes tongue flicking out, as men will have an abstract tattoo of fangs on one side of their face; these tattoos are both a coming of age tattoo and is directly representative of the fact that they have killed someone.

Sargari men are forbidden to get Gorza on their knees or below. There are no limits for where women may get Gorza.

All Gorza is issued, authorized and personally administered by a Vesra. Unsanctioned tattoos on a Sargari is generally seen on criminals, though even they take care not to flaunt it too brazenly as it can often result in the loss of head.
