Man, my stuff is all serious and political and serious and stuff these days huh? Well, that the breaks of working for a newspaper (plus my Opinion editor used to be the NEWS editor, so as you'd imagine, he's every news concious and brainy). Anyhoo, this is about a woman who went missing in my town a few weeks back. It's a big scandal and there are dozens of search teams looking for her. But what about the thousands of other missing persons in the state? Do they get all this attention and search parties? NO. They don't. They get filed away at the back of the cabinet never to be seen again. The point is, the state only cares when the case is sensational and juicy. Otherwise your S.O.L. Hope you likes.
