A-HA!! I knew that was in you somewhere!!! Yesiree Jess, this simple pic has feeling, style, and it looks as though you were much more confident with the pencil than most of your earlier stuff! It's good to see you're finding your voice! Something I've never told you Jess (very important, so listen up), a cartoonist MUST HAVE, if nothing else, CONFIDENCE!!! If you don't, it'll be totally obvious. It's hard to laugh at a comic that has no confidence. You're stuff has to tell the reader, "I'm better than you, so let me make you laugh." And I see you starting to get it here and in most your recent work. KEEP IT UP! KEEP THAT FEELING!! DON'T LOOSE THE CONFIDENCE YOU HAVE GOING JESS!
-Love, your professor in the ways of stuff,
Johnny
