Just did this shot for the heck of it, I love how it turned out, though I want to add a background of a torn up painting of his original form and some really nasty looking stone walls.

Yes add a background. Although this picture is great just as it is, a background would make it even better. The lineart is high in detail, and the wrinkles on the robe that are spiral in shape add mood to the picture.
