heyhey, now that i look, it is, thanks ^__^ I dunno but i like very bright and moving characters in my drawings..oh and if you don't know neopets, perhaps you could get into it, i mean people think its cheesy, childish, etc, but it can be quite life consuming...presuming people have life to be consumed.

Neopets...havent been there in ages.
I think this is a very nice quality pic. I love the coloring, especially on the hair.
The only problem is just a few anatomical problems. Like her breasts, it looks like she only has one. It's a very common problem, but easy enough to fix. Just lok at some models and look up a few anatomical tutorials online. bakaneko.com is a good place to start.
Also, make sure you clean the pictures perfectly, there are a few spots that the coloring goes outside the lines.
Even though the hair looks awesome, you should add more shading, darker shading, and then add the beautifulyl flowing highlights. That'll emphasize her folowing hair even more.
You have lineart down pretty much, and you have a unique style. I think that with just a few fixes, you can have an evenmore amazing style ^_^
I'm hoping that I didnt seem at all rude through this critique and I really must stress that I do indeed like this style. It's very refreshing after seeing so many similar styles ^.^ And I dont think this is low-quality art. I've SEEN low-quality art, and this isnt it. So I dont know what they were on.
Anyways, great image and I hope my critiques were helping, and didnt come off as rude. That's my worst fear when giving crits, that I piss the artist off. >.> I'm rambling now so yea...ciao

Wow no really, thanks for the crits, its actually great to get comments like yours, i mean i do learn something from them, some people get so mean and annoyed sometimes when i crit their artwork, i mean i crit to help, not to make them feel bad, thent hey go and give me the whole "crits don't make me better i hate you" etc etc speech, god i wish someone would bloody well shake some sense into them and tell em to get over it, ah k now im done complain, but anyways thanks for the comment ^__^ oh n about the 1 breast thing, yeh i see it now, lol maybe i should make a note of that...perhaps she got it surgically removed..or was born wth only 1..shudders

I know what you mean. That's why I emphasized the fact that I WASNT trying to be mean in the end of my crit. I've gotten harrased and spammed because I've critiqued people. That's wy I dotn do it often. I only do long crits like I did when I see major potential in, and I saw that in yours. But note; I was very careful with my wording. I'm just so weak when people say mean things to me, even over internet XD
I really hate that old argument. I usually beg for critiques and these people that get some bitch because they get one >.< That angers me D:

I used to have major problems with the breasts. I sometimes still do the whole 'one breast' issue thing. The way to fix it is to draw folds so it looks like she has another boob, and then shade accordingly. At first it's frustrating, but in the end it's worth the effort.
Also, a very important note. To make your pictures even more accurate in professional, it's important to know real-life proportions. Be able to draw realistically. Then your proportions in your more cartoony style will look better. Trust me. Even know my realism is not up to par, I got realistic proportions down. But once again, it isnt easy x.x took me 2 years to get where I am

I don't know Neopets, but I like this picture. There's a lot of movement in it and I like the style you used for shading the hair. It really stands out. Her collarbone is a little low, but otherwise it looks pretty good. Nicely done.
