I really love your fantasy art. You add so much detail and depth to your pictures. I especially like her headdress in this image. You did an excellent job on her hair as well. You can feel the curly tecture! Beautiful job all around.

This is amazingly done.

The only criticism I could possibly hope to offer are the following:

Is this a mirror, or a portal? I.e. is it recessed, or does it come out FROM the wall. Elements show of both.

Also (and this is minor), the nails on everything but the index finger just look a little off to me.

Still, it's about a million times better than anything I could do.

Thanks Gushi...and it is an open portal to an Abyss, so you cant see was there before , so it might seem mirror like or TV--like looking through a hole that seperates two worlds..and the nails which are meant to be more claw-like than nails, along with the hand and fingers, are purposely distorted to show some demon-like attributes..

That is amazing detail and I wouldn't have thought pencil was used, till you mentioned it. The glowing smoke pentagram and shadow, and the wall's texture are just some of the finishing touches that give it the added realism. Brilliant job!

Thanks Meliloh! I do a pencil study on most pics before I paint them, traditionaly or digital and use the pencil work as a starter, so you dont see alot of it (pencil) at the finish...and glad the pentagram and details work for you..
