Ore, Metal Elemental
Ore, Metal Elemental by @Cacopheny (Abigail Oliver)

I thought I'd do something to prove to Phoenix-chan that Ore was cool ^^ So here he is, looking all whistfully into the mountain pool and wishing he were a real kat with real lungs to blow real bubbles. ::grins::

This was my first attempt at doing the main subject of a picture in markers... I think it turned out okay. The grays don't blend as nicely as I'd like them to, but then, since when to markers blend? I just should have not used that lightest one; it looks too purple. I needed markers to get the shiny look-- Ore is made entirely of metal, so he's all shiny. ^^ His back and neck I'm way proud of, but his tail sucks... so I cut off most of it. ^^

Anyhoo. I hope I didn't visually butcher Ore, Phoenix-chan ^^ Enjoy.

Teknikitties and their respective Elementals beylong to 'Kat-san, Sarah Bosman, and Ore in particular belongs to Phoenix-chan ^^

::gasps in shock, squeals like a mad thing, and dies of overloading happpiness:: You drew my baby!!! ::bounces around and snatches up da Gayle-chan-sama in the biggest hug she can muster:: You're so sweet! You have NO idea how ballistic I'm going over here. ^_^ Surprise pictures drive me absolutely batty - in a good way!

Thank you!!! I'm DEFINATELY enjoying it. ^_^ Ore looks absolutely beautiful. I want your colouring skills!!!

Heh, I'm going to stop before I spontaneously combust or something. ::giggles and hugs and happily bounces away::

oh, gayle, this is beautiful! I especially love Ore's expression, and his reflexion is just great! has a thing with not able to draw waterness

If I have any right to make any suggestions, it would be to make the metallic high-lights and dark spots conform more to the body.... with the middle colour being mostly a buffer between outlines and those two. I dunno, just would give it a REALLY smooth, professional look.

Otherwise, this is wonderful, I like the body shape 'n everything! grins from ear to ear it's pretty.
