a puzzled arab
a puzzled arab by @magenta (Laurel)

On the long 18 hour ride to florida, I was extremely bored, so this is what happened. Not much, but I liked the expression on the arabian.. and I did have fun with the started mane and tail.

I love the pose! So cool. :) I think the head looks a little "off", but I can't really speak ... hehe. The half-finished mane and tail and sketchy lines of the body look really good. Great technique.

Awww, thank you so very much!! Now that I look at it, yeah.. I definitely see what you are saying with the head. I think I need help.. I cannot visualize. I wish I could put a horse in a position and really truly make it convincing that it's definitely in that position. Like with this head.. you can't really tell where it is. It might just as well be a floating bob. :P

I won't ramble any longer, but thank you very much for the post. I love your art... your horses are fantastic.
