Minnesota - RT2024 by @ajfox (A Girtz)

Every journey begins somewhere. What would the RT24 series be without my home state?  The place where dreams are schemed, the seasons are ever changing, and (aside from England in 1984 - 1985) the place I've called home from the start.  You won't find any championship-caliber sports teams here, and the twin cities politics are really terrible, but the dynamic landscape, people and places never really leave you once you visit them. This drawing also commemorates a personal milestone: 2024 marks the first time I've ever been to all 4 borders/corners of Minny, in the same year, by way of Warroad, (North) Albert Lea, (South) Duluth, (East) and Moorhead. (West) I never thought that would happen.

.........Ok......I'll say it:     Yah, you betch'a!      

The Animals:  Grey Fox, Loon, Raccoon & Gopher

For those curious, the state motto: "L'Etoile Du Nord" (French) on the state flag banner means "The Star of the North".  Like Texas, it's not uncommon to see people display a star on homes and businesses here. Yer darn tootin'.
