Who said mythology was boring?
Who said mythology was boring? by @carocron (Caroline Cronshaw)

A group picture of most of the main cast of my friend Lyesmith's story "If Ragnarok Should Fall." It's basically about Loki (Norse god of trickery) escaping his underground prison, finding himself in modern-day Chicago (is it Chicago? I forget.), getting a girlfriend, and having to form alliances with other gods in order to protect himself against those who are out to kill him.

From left to right: Meghan (Loki's mortal girlfriend), Freya (Norse goddess of love and beauty), Loki (already explained), Freyr (Norse god of Sexuality and Fertility and Freya's brother), Ares (Greek god of War), Apollo (Greek god of the Sun), and Bast (in her cat form, the Egyptian goddess of cats). Ares acts stereotypically straight, but in reality, he's very much in louve with Freyr, who is bi. Aren't they cute? ^__^ Loki's a mean ol' homophobe, though. :P

I adore this picture, but I -can't- find the story it's for. Is it online? Because I'd really like to read it.

On the picture, Loki's expression is hilarious, and Apollo looks so cute! I especially like the detail on the clothes.
