From an RP that's a loose version of October, a possible future for Duke and company after Lead Me Through the Fire. Duke has rewound time to bring David back from the dead, and only he and Serenity know the truth. But David is starting to remember odd snatches of the past. Meanwhile, the Ice Queen is wreaking havoc. During a battle, Duke sees her shooting icicle spears at David and he jumps to take them. As he's dying, he finally tells David the truth about what David's been remembering and begs his forgiveness for being so selfish as to bring him back by meddling in forbidden powers.
