Not all elves or as I call them: Sprytes, are the typical thin size, I tried at a rounder size. She's conjuring magyc.
Done in Col-Erase pencil.

Edit: You barely see her pendant, but it's a symbol that I've drawn a while back and is painted on the wall in the art classroom. Also I've noticed that I sketched out my (costume) ring at the bottom right corner. Title comes from a song by David Bowie.

The lines on this are soooo nifty. Col-Erase pencil? What is that? And where did you get it? This is a cute character design, I also like the name 'Sprytes' for these kind of characters. The pose is very nicely drawn. It just needs a crazy glow effect to go with it....

The elves in Elf Quest don't strike me as being particularly skinny. If you haven't read that series, you should definetly check it out... I've read bits and pieces, but I like it a lot. :) You probably will too!

Did you mean the lines from the paper (bg)?? Cause I'm bad with sketching on ruled paper. ^^; Col-erase pencils you can find at a few art stores. There's many colors to choose from. I know I've gotten a few from the college I used to go to but you can find for sure at Wallack's. (Not sure if you have that art store). It's always elves, I thought why not named them something else?? ^^ I had done an ink copy so that I can color but I lost it in the process of packing. ^^; Elf Quest eh?? Hmm. I'm pretty sure the library here don't have the particular series, but I know the book store has them...no cash so it'll have to wait. ::lol:: Thanks for the tips. ^^ and sorry for the long reply/rant. ::lol::
