My first Chibi
My first Chibi by @petra (petra wheeler)

This is my first attempt at the manga-style. I've tried it before, but this time I'm really gonna pull it off.

Drawing pad in Photoshop.

For the background I used the filter 'difference clouds', several times until I liked the effect. Using purple and light blue. Then I used gaussian blur to blur it a bit. I duplicated that layer and used Chrome to make the watery effect. Next I used Levels to make the the dark parts real dark and the light parts really light. Highlights. Then I put the layer blending option on screen. And made sure the duplicated layer was on top. (not on top of the picture of course! but I'm sure you all will get that)

I've CHANGED THE EYES later ^__^

You used Kathy Koope's book, didn't you. I drew the girl on the inside cover. MEEP!

So cute! I have that art book, I love his shirt! Good computer coloring, too! One thing is you might want to add color to his eyes... just plain white eyes are kinda creepy!
