Thank you for your comment. That's an earlier version of Joe Cupid before I figured out which proportions to shrink him down to. Like I mentioned with Psyche, Cupid has quite a bit of symbology packed into him (interestingly, much of it was accidental). The base form is obvious: a little winged guy toting a bow with golden arrows, a concept dating back at least to the Greeks, though the 'diaper' is from modern times. He wears shades because love is blind. He's a rabbit originally because I thought along the lines of 'love can be swift', but then I discovered that the Chinese version of the god of love lived on the Moon, and some people can picture a rabbit in the splotches on the Moon. Hence, except for refinements in clothing and stature, Cupid really hasn't changed much since I created him.
