She is so cute. I really love the childlike pose you've chosen--it suits her so well. I love the goat plushy! It looks like it's peering around her shoulder, and the way she's hugging it so protectively is really a great detail. Her eyes are very cute and innocent... her expression is somewhat reproachful, though. I wonder what she's thinking?

The coloring is decent, though you shouldn't be afraid to extend your shadows further into bigger areas. Shadows don't just occur underneath things--they make things round, and three dimensional, as well. So try some simple observation and I know you'll get better.
